Though the latest version is a definite improvement over the earlier versions, it still has some of the problems that were there in the earlier versions. Most notably, it sometimes tends to slow the computer down. Other than this, AVG is superb product that ensures complete security to your computer.
I trusted AVG completely until this version.. now I can’t trust it at all. I switched over to NOD32 from ESET and am GLAD I did. A friend complained of some problems, so I took his hard drive and hooked it up externally to my pc. Ran a scan with NOD32 and it found 27 viruses that AVG had NO CLUE was there.
